Karting is physically demanding and your ribs are particularly susceptible to intense pressure during kart driving. The g-forces that are being put on your body, especially your ribcage, are multiplied when the kart is turning. The Tillett P1 gives drivers the highest level of rib protection available without reducing the feel of the chassis. The P1 has highly technical panels which spread the load perfectly over the whole ribcage and always retain their shape even on a hot day. It is the thinnest rib protector available which means that the correct fit in your kart seat is unaffected by the addition of the protection.

A rib protector must not be too big! If in doubt go for the smaller size and use the width adjustment at the rear under the rear joining panel. The halves should not touch in the front!
